Dear Devin Olson:

Thank you for submitting an abstract for consideration for Lotusphere 2011. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept your session submission -- we are simply unable to accommodate all of this year's incredibly 'top-notch' submissions.........

Sigh. I must admit I'm a bit saddened that I won't be presenting this year -but just a wee bit. There is going to be so much really good stuff I would have missed had I been selected. So this year, I'll be a CONSUMER. (starting with BALD)

Congratulations to all who have been selected, I'm really looking forward to seeing what you've got hidden up your (collective) sleeves.

1 - Same here brother. It's a total gas to present at LS, but it's also a lot of work. So it's always a mixed blessing either way, and it's important to look on the up side of whichever decision comes.

Seriously, I'm briefed on the Lotusphere plan and I assure you, you're schedule is going to be packed anyway. In fact, wait... okay, I just allocated every free minute you have between now and Orlando. Sorry, buddy, but you'll hate me by Jan 29th. Emoticon
