Who could ask for anything more?

As I have pointed out in the past, Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez are on my list of favorite film makers. (They are #s 2 and 3 respectively). Both of them are highly intelligent, eloquent, and truly understand what makes a good movie. They also score very high on the badassometer. I think if you put them together with John Wayne, Clint Eastwood, and a bag of beef jerky you could pretty much take over the world.

I just found out about their upcoming 2 film Grindhouse project; and boy oh boy am I ever excited. The films are called Planet Terror (Rodriguez) and Death Proof (Tarantino). Years ago I worked at a Drive In theatre; and this project is perfect Drive In fare. Grindhouse opens April 06, 2007.

I'll be in the front row with my popcorn (unless I can find a Drive In around here).
