Bought a Ford

QuickImage Category Cars and Trucks

Howdy All!
Just thought you'd be interested to know, I no longer will be taking my Saturn Sedan when I go camping! I just bought a new (used) truck!  Here are the details:

1989 F150 (Ford 1/2 Ton pickup for you non-truck people)  XLT Lariat, Extended Cab, Shortbed, power Everything, 4-Wheel drive, AC, AT, Cruise Control, Sliding Rear Window, Tinted windows.  It has new Tires & Custom rims, Captain's seats up front, and new carpet.  It is a very pretty metallic blue, and I will love him, and pet him, and wash him, and call him George.

Sorry about that, I'm still pretty excited with it >;)

Anyway, I managed to get the whole shebang*  for only $4300, which means I have enough money left over to eat this month.

TTFN!
Devin.

*The word shebang, though not often used anymore, used to be very common in spoken American English.  It is a slang word, and most likely stems from a combination of  the root Germanic bangt, meaning huge or many; and the root French (Romantic) sheira, meaning excitement or interest.
